We are now responsible for running the local sensory toy library which is up and running from its new home at Le Rondin School.
All of these items are freely available to borrow, click here for an online catalogue(pdf) of all available items. So far we have unfortunately seen this great resource being underused. Please, please come and have a look and see if anything we have is useful - whether you are a parent, grandparent, childminder or carer of a child who would benefit.

The library includes both small and large items such as:
- Sound Activated Step Light
- Bubble Tube with Fish
- Spinning bells and chimes
- Space Projector
- UV lantern and UV reactive resources
- Dark Den
- Tactile Floor Tiles
- Snowbox
- Bead Frames
- Various boxes of Musical Instruments
- Sound and Light Dome
- Colour Spotlight and Wheel
- Tactile Kit
- Sounds kit
- Fine Motor Skills resources (threading cards, beads, photocopiable resource books etc)
- Gross Motor Skills resources (balance beam, stepping stones, agility ladder, giant spinning top, rotation board etc)
As well as lots of wooden educational puzzles and developmental toys.
If you would like to find out more about sensory processing difficulties the NAS website has some useful information as does the website www.sensory-processing-disorder.com where you can download a checklist to see which difficulties your child may have.
To borrow or view items from the library please contact Mrs Anne Le Cheminant 264805 or email anne@le-cheminant.com
We wll hopefully be running some 'come and play' sessions where you can come and view the library and try things out before borrowing.
