About NAS Guernsey

The National Autistic Society Guernsey Branch (NAS Guernsey Branch) champions the rights and interests of all people with autism in Guernsey, Alderney, Herm and Sark, and tries to ensure that they and their families receive quality services appropriate to their needs. The NAS Guernsey Branch is the islands leading charity for people on the autistic spectrum and their families.

We have an elected committee comprising of a Branch Officer, Treasurer and Secretary as well as now eight other members who meet regularly to discuss and act on various issues affecting the Branch and local provison for autism.  We run this website and produce occassional newsletters for members, details of which are also posted on our new Facebook page to try and keep everyone up to date and informed.

Regular Branch meetings with local and visiting speakers, fundraising events, social activities for families and parents and awareness raising initiatives are all part of our regular events diary.  The Branch holds a library of books, leaflets and DVDs which can be freely borrowed and we also now run the sensory toy library which contains various pieces of equipment, large and small, which can be freely borrowed by any parent/carer or professional working with a child with sensory needs.
