Fundraising
Money raised by you for the local Guernsey branch of the NAS can be used to finance many of our ongoing and stand alone projects. This includes providing training for parents, carers, professionals and the general public which raises awareness and understanding of autism and in turn improves the lives of those living on the spectrum. Invaluable support for individuals and their famillies can also be provided through social events for children, teenagers, parents, families and siblings and money towards maintaining our book and sensory toy libraries gives families practical resources to make their day to day lives easier.
As a branch we hold various fundraising events throughout the year but are also extremely grateful to those of you who can help in other ways, including:
Corporate Support
Making NAS Guernsey your Charity of the Year, one off fundraising days e.g. dress down days and staff fun days, last hour of the year payroll donations, make NAS Guernsey the beneficiary charity of corporate events, donating raffle prizes for our own events.

Individual Fundraising
Sponsored marathons, bungee jumps, parachute jumps, mountain climbs, head shave/leg wax and anything else adventurous and impressive that you can think of! The NAS organises various challenge events, for which funds can be raised specifically for the Guernsey Branch, keeping proceeds locally. For more details of active challenges click here
Celebration Giving!
Have you got a special event coming up? Whether you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, engagement, wedding or are holding another event, we'd be delighted if you asked your loved ones to help you mark the occasion by helping people affected by autism in Guernsey.
More and more people are now using celebration giving as a way of supporting a cause they care about whilst raising awareness amongst the people they know by inviting guests to make a donation to their chosen charity (in this case NAS Guernsey!) instead of buying gifts.
Your donation could help us generally, or could pay for a specific piece of equipment, books, training course, or other current project that will help local families in Guernsey. Click here for more information
EasyFundraising.org.uk
We have now registered the Branch with Easyfundraising which is a website where retail stores and suppliers donate up to 15% of any purchases you make on their site to charity. Sites include Amazon, The Book People, Lego, HMV, numerous florists, Baker Ross, Boden, Fat Face, Play.com and Additions Direct as well as many holiday, hotel and travel companies.
This means that through sites which you may already use, and for no cost to you, we can raise funds for the Branch. Committee members have found that through their normal online shopping they can raise £10-£30 per month, imagine how beneficial that could be if more people sign up!!
All you have to do is register yourself with the site, nominate us as your fundraising cause and then access all your favourite shopping websites through the easyfundraising site. All stores are listed categorically and show the % donation that they will make.
